SENSASI

Weekly Movement Challenge

A 12-week team fitness challenge — 15 km a week, verified by screenshot, ranked on a shared leaderboard.

Problem

Group fitness challenges collapse for administrative reasons, not motivational ones. Someone has to collect everyone’s distances, someone has to believe them, and someone has to keep the standings current. That person burns out around week three and the challenge quietly ends.

What it does

SENSASI — Senang, Sehat, Siap Beraksi — runs a 15 km weekly target across a 12-week programme, and removes the administrator from the loop.

  • A target simple enough to remember. 15 km in a week, running or walking. No tiers, no formulas, no app to install first.
  • Verification by screenshot. Participants upload the proof they already have from whatever tracker they already use, rather than being forced onto one platform.
  • A leaderboard that maintains itself. Standings update from submissions. Nobody tallies anything.
  • A season, not an endless streak. Twelve weeks gives the challenge a finish line, which is what keeps people in it.

Approach

The interesting constraint was verification. Automatic tracking would mean integrating every fitness platform and excluding anyone using the wrong one. Manual reporting means trusting numbers nobody can check.

Screenshot upload is the pragmatic middle: it is evidence, it is visible to the group, and social accountability does the enforcement that software would do badly. It also means the barrier to joining is a phone camera roll rather than an integration.

The interface is built for the two moments that actually matter — submitting this week’s distance, and seeing where you stand — and treats everything else as secondary.

Status

Live. Participation runs in programme cycles rather than continuously.
